Today, I’m going to talk about a very important subject, protein intake and candida.
What you need to understand here is that I’m a great believer in protein restriction.
Yes, what I’m going to talk about today is going to upset a lot of you, but it’s the truth, I have read so many scientific data which deal with the subject, the fact that when you consume lots of protein in your diet, you are not only going to increase your risks of getting very dangerous diseases, but you are also going to increase the risks of developing candida and other fungal problems as well.
Well, not all proteins are created equal, what I would like to tell you here is that some proteins are better than others, and when it comes to animal proteins, the ones you get from meat, eggs, dairy, fish, poultry etc. they are the worst and are also known to cause different health issues, ranging from cardiovascular problems to even cancer!
So, what’s the relationship between candida and protein intake?
Well, you need to think of food as a whole package, when you consume lots of animal foods, you are not only consuming animal proteins, but you are also consuming saturated fats, these are going to increase candida colonies in your colon and intestines and they will end up spreading throughout your whole body!
In my opinion, this is the most important thing to understand about candida and protein, it’s the fact that when you consume animal foods, you are going to become constipated, even worse, saturated fats are going to increase the number of fungal colonies in your gut flora which is terrible.
So, what to eat, what proteins to consume?
Well, first of all, you need to decrease your protein intake on a daily basis, stop thinking in terms of quantity and start thinking in terms of quality.
There is a growth hormone factor called IGF-I that’s produced by our bodies, when you consume huge amounts of protein, this growth hormone factor is going to increase as well and as a result, exponential growth is going to happen in your body, this can be good if you are young and need development, but if you are an adult, this growth can be dangerous and can even cause different health risks from cancers to even cardiovascular problems.
Well, by lowering protein intake, you lower IGF-I production, and you stay younger, healthier, and energetic for a very long time.
What’s important to also understand is that animal proteins are bad for your kidneys and liver as well, instead of consuming animal proteins; I highly recommend that you shift to plant proteins, proteins in beans, whole grains, vegetables, and most importantly, lentils.
Nowadays, I consume huge amounts of beans and whole grain products on a daily basis, and I have never felt this energetic and healthy throughout my whole life.
Please, if you have a question concerning candida and protein, don’t hesitate to post it in the section below, I will be very glad to help you.
