In this post, I’m going to share with you the healthiest snacks to buy if you have candida, trust me, they are very filling, delicious, and most importantly, they are not going to increase your candida outbursts and overgrowth.
Whenever I tell people about consuming snacks to get rid of their candida issues, they start smiling or either laughing at this idea, they think that I must be joking because snacks have a reputation to be terrible for our health and to be extremely rich in saturated fats and other junk nutrients that are not going to help you, but today, I’m going to share with you a list of snacks that are very healing when it comes to candida, in fact, they are extremely nutritious and very delicious at the same time, they also play a very important role at preventing candida occurrence in the future.
Unfortunately, I’m not going to give you brand names because I live in Belgium, and most brands we have here are unknown in other places, so, I’m only going to give you the main ingredient in these snacks:
First one is nuts, most precisely, almonds.
And here, you should be looking for snacks that only contain almonds, roasted, and slightly salted.
In other words, the first snack is almonds! Only almonds, nothing else!
Don’t consume a lot, only a few handfuls a week, it’s more than enough to satisfy your cravings for snacks.
The second one is walnuts, and here, I’m talking about slightly roasted as well, they are very delicious and also very satisfying.
The next snacks to buy when you have candida are dried fruits.
Dried apples, mangoes, pineapples, and better yet, raisins etc. These are definitely the best snacks you can consume because they will provide you with the right amounts of energy in the form of fructose, and most importantly, since these are dried fruits, they are going to contain huge amounts of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds which are going to help your body stay strong and healthy, and most importantly, fight off candida very efficiently.
The next snacks to consume are peanuts.
Most people think of peanuts as the enemy, they think that if they consume a lot, they are going to get peanut allergy, but this is not the truth, if you don’t have peanut allergy, then, you can eat as much as you want, but please, make sure they are not fried or very salted.
In general, you should avoid snacks which contain preservatives, E numbers, oils, fat, too much sugar, too much salt, highly processed, trans fats, and needless to tell you: your snacks should be vegetables, nuts, or fruits, they are the best.
